The XE–900 single board computer offers the mid-sized EPIC form
factor with x86 processor. It is a high-performance, low-power SBC
that supports PC/104 and PC/104–Plus expansion.
Operating System:
Standard PC architecture supported by compatible operating systems.
OS Embedder Kits available for Windows XP Embedded and Linux. These
board support packages give full operating system support to
on-board industrial functions, such as digital I/O.
Expandable:
This embedded PC offers a rich family of industrial I/O functions.
It integrates video, serial ports, Ethernet, digital I/O,
CompactFlash, and USB networking into a single card. Support for
three hard drives gives this card the versatility to adapt to any
application.
Rugged:
The CPU provides enough computing power for virtually any embedded
application, while operating in extreme temperatures (–40° to 75° C,
1 GHz version) and under heavy shock (40g) and vibration (5g).
Tested and passed by Lockheed Martin for MIL–STD–810F for wheeled
and tracked vehicles.
The low-power requirements make the XE–900 suitable for situations
where battery life or heat dissipation is a concern.
Reliable:
The XE–900 EPIC SBC is ideal for applications in transportation,
security, military, communications, distributed control,
point-of-sale, ticketing machines, weighing equipment, and other
similar applications.

Conductive cooling system available:
For fanless applications, an integrated conductive cooling system
conducts heat to a base plate. To order:
